The flagship of the group, was formed in 1999 and is arguably the biggest auction house in Zimbabwe. It employs over 100 people on a permanent basis and about 20 casual workers a day. Hammer and Tongues Auctioneers has conducted sales for a wide range of companies in different industries, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, Embassies, Banks, Insurance houses and many other organisations. Hammer and Tongues Auctioneers has held sales on behalf of leading liquidators amongst them KPMG, Tudor Consultants, Grant Thornton Camelsa, The Sheriff of The High Court of Zimbabwe and Petwin Executors.
